01 Challenge

Build fast, memorable experiences for real audiences

Brand activations needed to be memorable, intuitive and technically reliable in event, retail and campaign settings where the experience had to work quickly for real audiences.

02 Approach

Blend novelty with usability

I contributed across interactive concept delivery, gameplay systems, AR and VR mechanics, and campaign execution support for multiple N2O-led brand experiences.

03 Execution

Experiential systems that stayed simple for users

The work included prize mechanics, mobile AR, immersive 360 content, mini-games and experiential campaign builds for major consumer brands. The focus was always on making the experience feel simple for users while still delivering novelty, delight and clear campaign value.

04 Outcome

Recognition that strengthened the proof

The projects contributed to award-winning marketing and digital activation work, including POPAI Gold Award-winning and FMBE Gold Award-winning campaign delivery.

Technical delivery

How the product was shaped

Experiential technology is unforgiving: the application may run for hours, serve people who have never seen the interface and be operated by event staff under time pressure. These projects combined creative interaction with the engineering discipline needed for public deployment.

Designing for the first ten seconds

Visitors did not arrive with onboarding time or technical patience. Each activation needed an obvious invitation, immediate feedback and a short path to a satisfying result. Input handling, state reset and visual hierarchy were engineered around throughput so one participant could finish and the next could begin without staff repairing the experience.

A build that survives the event floor

Public installations introduce intermittent connectivity, unusual display hardware, repeated sessions and accidental input. Robustness meant deterministic reset behaviour, graceful media fallbacks, clear operator controls and builds that could recover without exposing a desktop or development interface. Performance was measured against continuous operation, not a single successful demo.

Technology in service of a campaign

Unity, browser mechanics, AR and 360 content were selected according to the audience and venue rather than novelty. The work demonstrates end-to-end delivery: interpreting a creative brief, shaping an interaction, integrating media and hardware, testing the visitor flow and supporting the experience when it met a real public audience.
